Purchasing & Delivery Information

Due to poor past experiences, we do not hold any birds without a deposit. Each bird requires a $175 deposit. These deposits are non- refundable. This ensures that people have researched Quakers,  aware of the responsibilities and needs, and are certain they want one. That deposit holds until weaned and nothing more is due until bird is ready. Unless notified prior and approved, all birds must be picked up or scheduled delivery within a week of weaning. This is a critical period for your baby to begin the bonding process with you and you both deserve that time to do so. Failure to arrange this in advance will result in losing your bird and deposit.
We accept cashiers check, Zelle, Walmart to Walmart, Cash, and USPS Money Order. Walmart to Walmart is the only option we have besides in person payment for those who do not use electronic forms of payment. You can use your credit card via some of these options and your information stays private. Please do not send us your credit card information. If you are having trouble with one of these options, email us so that we can talk you through it, or try another option. We chose the payment options we did to protect us from scams.

We reserve the right to deny sales to any home we have concerns about safety and care. In these instances, we will fully refund.

Shipping & Delivery Options

Deliveries can be made up to 5 hours (one way) from Fort Wayne, IN. There is a delivery fee. It is $50 for up to 3 hrs, $75 for 4hrs, and $100 for 5hrs. (If you are outside this time frame from us, you can still contact us as case by case considerations can be made especially if there’s availability or we are already traveling in that general vicinity). Most deliveries not local will occur on the Sunday after your baby is weaned.

Shipping is currently available through Delta Airlines and their cost is approximately $180.

In some cases, shipping may be cheaper, and in some cases delivery may be cheaper depending on distance and number of birds.

Once your bird is fully paid along with the shipping and crate fees, we will book the shortest flight with the least layover’s possible. We watch the weather carefully in the departing destination as well as the arrival destination to procure the safest flight possible for your baby.

Visitation

We do allow visitation of your babies and we actually encourage this. We only allow visitations if you have a deposit down and want to pick a baby or visit the baby you deposited on. We do not wish to have people coming and going all day that will stress the birds or interfere with our feeding, cleaning, and socialization schedule.

We are very big on a disease free environment and will not risk our flock. We request that you wash or sanitize your hands prior to handling your baby for it’s safety. Please wear old clothes as formula fed babies unload themselves quite frequently. All visits must be arranged in advance because baby season has us very very busy on top of our normal daily tasks and lives. We are super easy going and flexible but very protective of our feather kids.
